Online Strategy & Marketing, Senior Executive


Responsibilities:

The Online Strategy & Marketing Senior Executive will jointly lead all Product, Marketing, Design and Sales strategies and initiatives. He or she will translate web sales and marketing data to produce and drive actionable recommendations to Brand Managers, Marketing Managers, Sales Managers, CRM Managers to develop strategies and tactical plans that directly impact Key Performance Indicators.

Key Tasks:

He or she will translate, and drive data usage in

Content acquisition process
Portal strategy (e.g. features, pages etc.)
Portal development (e.g. design, layout etc.)
Marketing activities
Ad sales propositions

The Online Strategy & Marketing Senior Executive is expected to mandate the use of data, and drive its usage to jointly plan and manage content, marketing, design and sales initiatives. He or she will also be expected to demonstrate impact of all activities according to the use of data collected.

He or she is also expected to lead efforts in expansion of data collection from web analytics to create more points of data to support content and marketing related decision making. Along with that, expand the collection of data to alternate sources including Customer Service Reports, Sales Reports etc.


Requirements:

Formal

Hands on and deep knowledge on online advertising, marketing and strategy planning/execution
Able to think and interpret campaign performance
Experience and exposure with local media and advertising industry
Able to work with web analytics companies to develop new tracking/measuring requirement

Informal

Attention to detail
Good presentation and communication skills


Qualifications / Experience:

3 – 5 years relevant experience in the online marketing space with an emphasis on search, social, email and partner marketing channels either client side or with an agency.
Able to provide evidence of previous success within Online Marketing
Strong numerical & commercial modeling acumen
Strong experience of using:
Google Adwords
Facebook Ads
Ad Networks e.g. AdMax, Nuffnang Job description
Web Analytics Tools e.g. Omniture, Google Analytics
Social Media
Email Marketing

Commerce experience of managing online store and operations
Experience with eCommerce platforms e.g. Digital River, Avangate, Paypal etc. would be a plus.
